Classic Margherita Pizza

Nothing beats the classics! This pizza has a touch of pizzazz from our new Magical Marinara, Roasted Garlic Pomodoro!

Make it with a gluten free crust or regular crust, and serve with a strong red wine for an authentic Italian experience.

1 package of store bought ready to bake pizza dough 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 2 cups marinara sauce 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese 4 oz fresh mozzarella cheese sliced 2 medium tomatoes sliced Fresh basil leaves
Heat the oven to 450 degrees. Bring the dough to room temperature and begin to stretch it into a circle. Place dough in the round pan or on a pizza stone. Brush both sides with olive oil, and reshape to the pan. Spread marinara evenly on top of the crust, then a thin layer of shredded provolone cheese. Top with sliced mozzarella and sliced tomatoes. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned. Top with Basil leaves and enjoy!

Delicious!!! Cucina Aurora oils are the best tasting oils out there!  Every time, I use them with guests, they always ask about flavors. I was fortunate to stop at the Kitchen Witchery booth at Mohegan Sun New England Christmas Festival. I purchased the Magical Marinara and that is what it is “magical” I cooked my meatballs in the sauce. The flavor was delicious with the garlic infused olive oil and a slight kick of red pepper we thoroughly enjoyed it! I will definitely be purchasing it again and will be trying the infused olive oils!
