Trombly Gardens was born out of Sunny Prairie Farm which started with 4 cows and 500 chickens in 1950. The farm started as a chicken farm and was then converted into a 400 cow dairy farm. In 2000, the transition was made to change into a produce and beef farm with a seasonal farm stand and greenhouses. The farm consists of 150 acres and we also farm over 200 more acres.

Trombly Gardens’ farm stand has something for every season and no matter what the season, we always have our own farm raised beef and pork, as well as eggs, local milk and ice cream.

I was fortunate to stop at the Kitchen Witchery booth at Mohegan Sun New England Christmas Festival. I purchased the Magical Marinara and that is what it is “magical” I cooked my meatballs in the sauce. The flavor was delicious with the garlic infused olive oil and a slight kick of red pepper we thoroughly enjoyed it! I will definitely be purchasing it again and will be trying the infused olive oils!
